Perfect for kids and families: Character Events and More

Character Breakfasts:

• Get up early on select Saturday mornings to skate, make crafts, and eat delicious donuts at our Character Breakfasts! These events are themed around a popular character and take place from 8-11am— just before our opening public session on Saturdays. These events are perfect for younger kids, as they offer a relaxed environment, a breakfast of donuts with a choice of milk or juice, and plenty of opportunity to get a photo op with their favorite character. Tickets cover admission, skate rental (if needed), playground (for kids ten and younger), coloring crafts, breakfast, and photo ops. Tickets are always cheaper when pre-ordered online, so make sure to grab tickets before time runs out. Adults who only want to chaperone do not need a ticket, and if you want to avoid buying socks at the door, please remember that anyone renting skates needs long socks (mid-calf length or longer)!
  Because Character Breakfast events end as our public skating session begins, attendees are more than welcome to stay for as long into our public session as they like, at no additional cost!

Character Skate Nights:

• Normally on Tuesday or Wednesday nights, our Character Skate Nights are from 5-8PM. These events are suited for kids and families and tend to work across a wider age-range of kids (think 5-11). Like our Character Breakfasts, these events are also themed around a popular character, so attendees have plenty of chances to make themed crafts or get photo ops. Tickets cover admission, skate rental (if needed), playground (for kids ten and younger), coloring crafts, and photo ops. Additionally, we often host raffles or costume contests at these events for prizes like plushies, blankets, toys, movie tickets, and more! Pre-ordering is the best way to ensure that you’re entered into any raffles, and again, tickets are always cheaper online.

Specialty Skates (musician highlights, holiday events, etc.):

• The biggest example of these are our SwiftieSkate events, which also run from 5-8PM on Tuesdays or Wednesdays. SwiftieSkates (or other musician highlights) require chaperones that are 25 years or older for anyone under the age of 18. Tickets cover admission, skate rental (if needed), playground (for kids ten and younger), goodie bags with Swiftie-themed bracelets and stickers, coloring crafts, and photo ops. For SwiftieSkate Birthday Bashes, tickets also include a cupcake to celebrate with the artist!
• Other Specialty Skates are our Homeschool Skates (from 1-4PM on the first Friday of every month of the school year) or Holiday events like our Noon-Year’s-Eve skate (12-4PM on December 31st). These events have their own pricing, but are generally treated like regular sessions (i.e., there aren’t tickets online to pre-order).

Tiny Tots Skates:

• Tiny Tots events are just for children 5 years old or younger and are meant to introduce little ones to skating in a fun and very relaxed way. These events have a different theme each month and are always from 10AM-1PM on the second Wednesday of every month (from August-April). Ticket prices for these events are very reduced when compared to our regular admission prices, and you can pre-order tickets online to get last year’s rate for an even better price. Your little ones can also bring ride-on toys (with no pedals) from home.

Events for Adult Skaters:

Specialty Adult Skates (musician highlights, decade nights, etc):

• Looking to have fun with an older crowd? These skates bring all the whimsy of our character events (themed music, photo ops) to an adult-only crowd! Skate to music from your favorite decade at our Rollin’ Back to the 80’s Skate or at Skate Night Fever. Want something more specific? Listen to your favorite artist all night long at one of our musician highlight nights— like our Prince night, our Halftime skate, our Renaissance skate, and our M.J. skate! Tickets are the same price online and at the door, but you can often get goodies for pre-ordering (like free soft-drinks, glow items, etc). Don’t forget to bring your I.D. and your camera! Remember: long socks (mid-calf or longer) are required if you plan to rent skates. Save yourself money by bringing your own!
