School is nearly out for summer and that means you’ll soon have lots of time for Tallahassee summer activities!
Don’t waste your summer, instead make sure you make this summer count. Here are a few ways to make the most of your summer break:
- Have fun with your siblings. If you’re lucky enough to have siblings, then summer is the perfect time to hang out. Don’t have siblings? When then invite your cousins or neighbors. Regardless, make plans to get out of the house and make some fun memories.
- Reconnect with your classmates. Just cause school is out, doesn’t mean you should let your school friendships fade during the summer. Stay in touch by organizing some nights out with your friends so you have something to talk about when school starts back and so you’re not left out of the loop.
- Don’t settle for boredom. There are lots of fun things to do in Tallahassee, so get out of the house, and have some fun. The Apalachicola National Forest or Lake Talquin State Park are both great for enjoying the summer weather with a little hiking. Of course, the beach is also wonderful this time of year. Or you could check out First Friday at Railroad Square Art Park.
- Get some exercise. Skating is fun but it’s actually good for you too! It’s great for cardio, muscle toning, and building endurance. Skating regularly can help you stay in shape and makes great cross training for other sports.
So check out our upcoming Tallahassee events and make plans to do a little skating this summer.
